Harvest Moon Vineyard was planted in 1976 in front of the Winery on Olivet Road. The vineyard is planted on well drained Huichica soil with a slight tilt to the west. This cool climate Gewurztraminer vineyard is one of the oldest in the Russian River Valley.

Brilliant straw color with a youthful green tinge. Lots of flowers in the nose with spice, lychees, ginger, and a hint of fresh thyme. Passionfruit, lychee, grapefruit, and fresh cut thyme flavors dominate this classic style Gewurztraminer. This wine has great balance and finishes dry and long.

This ruby wine show brightness in the aroma and vivid color with a combination of red and dark fruits, spice and a touch of oak on the nose. A medium full bodied wine with good acid and tannin structure with flavors of raspberry, strawberry, dark cherry, blackberry and spice. Juicy and enjoyable in it’s youth, it should age comfortably for 8 to 10 years in the cellar.

Bright garnet color with clarity, cherry on the nose with white pepper, bell pepper and a clean profile from front to back. The flavor profile follows with bright cherry, touch of licorice, mellow acidity, touch of tannins and a clean finish.
Campbell McKinney Vineyard is located at the northern end of the Russian River appellation on Westside Road. The soil is Yorkville series loam with gravel and is well drained. The vines were on it’s 24rd leaf for this harvest. This east facing vineyard with 5 to 30 percent slopes at 150 feet elevation gets plenty of sunshine and is great for northern Rhone varietals.

This wine is very floral and fruit forward, flavors and lush texture. A bouquet of honeysuckle, white peach, minerals, and mango. A medium to full bodied wine with tropical fruit, peach and melon flavors lead to a long mineral finish.
Our second rosé made from a single vineyard, Arturo Robledo Vineyard in Sebastopol. This vineyard is planted to several Dijon clones of Pinot Noir and has Goldridge soil.
Winemaker’s Notes
The Rosé of Pinot Noir is pure Pinot fruit with great balance and finesse. The color is light rose and brilliant. With a bouquet of guava, raspberry, strawberry and cantaloupe melon with flavors to match, this wine is the perfect refresher for warm days. The only problem with this wine is there is not enough!

Clear strawberry color, vibrant and playful, flowery with rhubarb, wild strawberry, raspberry, baking spices and vanilla in the nose. Medium body and sweet and rich on the palate. Layers of flavor with Bing cherry, raspberry, rhubarb and vanilla. The flavors of toasty raspberry and Bing cherry linger on to a long, clean, creamy vanilla finish.

This 5 acre vineyard block was planted in 1991 to Cabernet franc. Owned by Bill & Betsy Nachbauer of Acorn Winery just south of Healdsburg in northern Russian River AVA. This is the warmest part of the Russian River making it perfect for Cabernet Franc. Gently south-sloping alluvial Haire clay loam with various rootstock.
Alegría vineyards’ name is the Spanish word that means joy and happiness. Chosen to honor California’s heritage and the workers who tirelessly tend the vineyards.

Our Russian River Vineyard blend consists of two different vineyards; TnT and Ruxton which are within a five mile radius on the western edge of the Russian River.

A full bodied wine with good acid and tannin structure with flavors of raspberry, blackberry, dark cherry and spice. This rich tasting wine is very showy and should age nicely for 8 to 10 years in the cellar.
Harvest Moon Vineyard was planted in 1976 in front of the Winery on Olivet Road. The vineyard is planted on well drained Huichica soil with a slight tilt to the west. This cool climate Gewurztraminer vineyard is one of the oldest in the Russian River Valley. Starscape, formerly know as Floodgate, is located in the Middle Reach area of the Russian River Valley. The soil is Laniger loam and faces the southeast with a 2.1% grade.

This was our first year in this vineyard and it did not disappoint.

This wine is very floral, fruit forward with lush texture. A bouquet of honeysuckle and ripe Bartlett pear. Pear, white peach, lemon grass with soft minerality flavor, medium full bodied wine with a refreshing fruit profile that finishes clean on the palette with a lingering pear flavor.
This 1/2 acre vineyard located between Grandview and Montgomery southwest Sebastopol. Planted to Syrah Noir and 5% Viognier this vineyard is set-up perfectly to produce a Cote Rotie style Syrah. Gold Ridge soil, great drainage, and very cool site create the conditions for very high quality. This vineyard being on the edge of where Syrah can get ripe makes for intense grapes and late harvests.

Classic Cote Rotie cofermented 95% Syrah with 5% Viognier. Beautiful velvet texture with rich fruit. White pepper, blueberry and cocoa.

Our Russian River Vineyard blend consists of three different vineyards; TnT, Ruxton and Horseshoe Bend which are within a five mile radius on the western edge of the Russian River. The TnT vineyard clones are 114, 115, 667 and 777 on Riparia Gloire rootstock with Goldridge soil. The Ruxton Vineyard at 800 feet elevation is above the fog line, planted in Gold Ridge soil to Dijon Clones 667, 777, and 115. Horseshoe Bend also at 800 feet elevation is planted to Dijon 113 with Gold Ridge soil.

Dark garnet, juicy cherry, tobacco notes on the nose. The palate is a great balance of berry fruits, acidity and depth. Dark cherry finish.

Soft wild strawberry, cantaloupe and watermelon with beautiful soft small bubbles
The two acre TnT vineyard was planted in 1999 and 2000 with clones 114, 115, 667 and 777 on Riparia Gloire rootstock with Goldridge soil. This vineyard is on a south-facing slope with 4×4 spacing giving 2,700 vines per acre. Because of the close spacing it produces about 3.5 to 4 tons per acre with consistently high quality and great depth of flavor. The vineyard is located in the Green Valley sub region of Russian River.

Ruby red color, bright and vibrant, with aromas of exotic red fruits, plum, red apple, stems and cinnamon. This medium full body wine has flavors of raspberry, cherry, plum, vanilla and spice with a viscous texture. Fine tannins, great depth of flavor make this wine appealing in its youth but will reward aging up to ten years plus.

Deep purple color with blue berry and black berry fruits, black pepper and lavender notes. Juicy fruit characters with black pepper, star anise with hints of vanilla and cocoa. Lush texture and full body.
The Ruxton Vineyard is located at the western edge of the Green Valley Appellation overlooking the Santa Rosa Plain with the Mayaccamma Mountains as a back drop. This east facing vineyard gets plenty of sun with it’s elevation on the ridge line, usually above the fog. The Gold Ridge soil and moderate slope keep yields down and quality up. Dijon Clones 667, 777, and 115 are planted in this two acre block. The wines from this vineyard have black fruits, baking spices, and mushroom earthiness, with rich texture.
Winemaker’s Notes
This dark wine shows blackberry, cherry, concord grape, and cocoa powder, with Zinfandel spice on the nose. A full body wine with flavors of black berry, grape tootsie pop, with spice and earth. The wine has good acid and structure with a long clean finish and fine tannins.
Horseshoe Bend Vineyard is located on Occidental Road and was planted in 1996 in Goldridge / Sebastopol series soil with Dijon clone 113 on 101-14 rootstock. The vineyard is on a south facing slope 800 feet above sea level with only a 26-degree diurnal temperature swing. This vineyard always has the silkiest texture of all our Pinots and layers of complex flavors. It is farmed by the owners.
Winemaker’s Notes
Bright crimson color with pomegranate, raspberry, plum, and cardamom on the nose. Medium body with a silky creamy texture and smoky flavors of strawberry, raspberry, cherry, plum, cardamom with lifted violets and a great long rich finish.
This 7 acre vineyard was planted in 1998 to Dijon clones 115, 777 and 667 in Goldridge soil. It is located in Freestone on a slight slope, south west facing down to the valley floor. With only a 27 degree average diurnal temperature swing it is always our last Pinot vineyard to come in. The wines from this vineyard are light in color with bright red fruits, pretty aromatics and a creamy texture with low alcohol.

Medium to light body this wine shows great body for only 13.3% alcohol. Layers of flavor with strawberry, cherry, toasty raspberry, sandalwood and black cherry leads to a long, clean, creamy finish.

The wine shows the different characteristics of the three vineyards giving it much complexity. This ruby wine show brightness in the aroma and vivid color with a combination of red fruits, spice and a touch of oak. A medium full bodied wine with good acid and tannin structure with flavors of raspberry, strawberry, dark cherry and spice. The bright, high toned nature of the wine matches with food extremely well and should age comfortably for 8 to 10 years in the cellar.
Weeks Vineyard is on Occidental Road near Jonive total of nine acres planted to chardonnay on Goldridge soil. Planting began in the 1980’s to wente clone. This vineyard is located 2 miles east of the town of Occidental. Because of the low yields and high acidity this vineyard works well with our winemaking style. It is south facing on an 8% slope at 672 foot elevation.

Bright golden yellow color, this wine shows apple, pear, honey and vanilla on the nose. This Medium body wine has great balance with soft acid and creamy texture with flavors of pear, honey, clove, green apple, and a kiss of butter lead to a long creamy finish.
