2008 Paul Mathew Rosé of Pinot Noir

Availability: Sold out.

Our Rosé of Pinot is a blend of 3 vineyards; Ruxton, TnT & Occidental Road. Each Vineyard is within 5 mile radius all between to the town of Occidental and Graton.

The 2008 growing season crops were off by 30% due to the worst frost since 1972. This Rosé was made from the saignee method of bleeding juice from the tanks of Pinot Noir. Slow cold stainless steel fermentation with no ML. The wine never saw any wood and was bottled in February 2009.

Winemaker's Notes

PMV Rose of Pinot Noir is a bright pink salmon color with lots of fresh wild strawberry notes followed by soft citrus hints. Full mouth feel of balanced fruit with a touch of watermelon finish.
