Vineyards

Mill Station Vineyard of the Dutton Ranches was planted the 1970’s in wente clone. This vineyard is located on an even level of goldridge soil on Graton Rd. just West of the town of Graton in the heart of the Green Valley Appellation.

Winemaking

Grapes were hand picked October 8th, crushed destemmed and transferred to oak barrels for a twenty day fermentation. All natural yeast and a long cool malolactic fermentation, below 70 degrees. The wine was bottled unfined and unfiltered ten months later.

Winemaker's Notes

Clean and bright to look at with the same brightness of fruit and acidity on the nose. The palate offers refreshing green apple, soft mineral clean constant flavor from start to finish. A round chardonnay that shows off the purest of fruit character.
